The CB1100F has to be one of the prettiest bikes Honda produced in the 80s. Most have been modified or wrecked . This low mileage example is the rare original. All original right down to the factory exhaust which is exceedingly rare on a 43 year old sport bike. Speedometer stopped working during a recent ride so a new NOS speedo is included. The odometer still works fine so the mileage is accurate. We wanted to retain the original mileage so the choice is up to the buyer. You may see the small dent in the tank. The rest of the bodywork is like new.Taken out of storage, it was recommissioned to show AND ride. There is no exaggeration in the next statements: This bike is ridiculously mint. I've never seen a 42 year old bike so clean AND original as this Shadow. From the inside of the tank to the meters to the running condition, its like its 1986 again!We've recommissioned it after several years of "proper" storage and she runs, stops and handles like new. It got treated to fresh oil and filter, fuel filter, brake and clutch hydraulics flushed plus new battery. The carbs were pulled, cleaned and rebuilt. 4 new plugs (2 per cyl) were installed. Here's a unicorn you've probably never seen in person. This CBX400F may look pretty conventional at first but closer inspection reveals some impressive tech especially for a 1982 motorcycle. This smooth and quick 4 cylinder 400 will amaze you with its razor sharp handling and lightweight feel - again on a 42 year old JDM (Japanese domestic market) motorcycle!Several innovations make this an exceptional investment ~Fairings are common today but this was the first Japanese sport motorcycle with a standard factory frame mounted fairing giving it the Integra name. The naked version is somewhat attainable in Asia but a stock Integra is super rare even in Japan. The next thing that will catch your eye is the inboard disc brakes on Comstar wheels. Then there's the first anti-dive mechanism (TRAC) and mono-shock rear suspension. Also rare for the time is Honda's self cancelling signalsThis example is totally stock and "unmolested" with original paint and decals. There are some very minor flaws on the decals near the from signals. This is a Type 1 CBX as confirmed by the VIN and the all silver Comstar wheels.
