What if you put a big loping twin into a great handling euro-style bike? So Yamaha asked this in 81-82 and the XV920R is the result. The proven motor from the Virago 920 powers this remarkably rare 80s. Almost everyone I've seen has been chopped or welded into a custom or cafe. This one is way too nice for that treatment with only a little over 2000 miles on the clock. A long wheelbase and low center of gravity allows you to ride it much quicker than you would think. Think Japanese Ducati.This example is in remarkable condition and bone stock. A small dent on the tank is the only real flaw on the bike. It starts quickly and pulls strongly. Its a blast to ride!After a lengthy storage we recommissioned it by:Sonic cleaning and rebuilding the carbsReplaced spark plugsReplaced batteryOil and filter changedFront calipers and master cylinder rebuiltReplaced intake gasketsClean PA title included.
